Greensboro, NC -- Police continue to collect information related to Thursday nights shooting on Benbow Road.

Greensboro Police were called to Statesman Court apartment complex around 10:30 Thursday night. The apartment complex is located near the A&T campus.

Police say they found 22-year-old Charles Edward Monroe with two gun shot wounds and 21-year-old Austin Needham Sutton with one gun shot wound.

Lieutenant D. L. Willoughby said, "The door was opened, they entered and demanded money, robbery is the apparant motive. Sometime during this confrontation the two victims were shot."

Nieka Harris, the office manager of Stateman Court, said the two victims were not tenants of the apartment complex. They were just visiting a friend. She said one of the victims visited the complex the day after the shooting. He reported that he and the other friend that was shot were doing fine.

Police are looking for two men, both armed with handguns. The only details are as follows: Suspect #1 is a light skinned black male, 6'4" tall and wearing a white shirt. Suspect #2 is a dark skinned black male wearing a brown shirt, blue jeans and brown boots.
