Man, Woman Found Dead In Wrecked Car

Asheboro, NC -- Randolph County Sheriff's Office is calling a crash in Franklinville a murder suicide, but they aren't releasing many details.

Sunday deputies responded to a wrecked car down an embankment on Carl Allred Road.

They found a man and woman dead inside the car. Both bodies were taken to Randolph County Hospital pending an autopsy in Chapel Hill.

The investigation is ongoing at this time. Investigators are not releasing the identities of the two people until their families are notified.
