  • Greensboro, NC -- On-line predators may be using internet video gaming as the latest path to their victims.

According to child safety advocates - - one in seven children receive unwanted sexual solicitations while on-line.

Parents learned from police how to protect their children in public parks.

Now, officers want parents to know how they can protect their children from predators on this virtual playground.

"That's why it's so important for them to talk to their children and educate them about what may be online and what they need to be careful of just like they would in a park. If they saw a stranger, same thing. Don't talk to strangers online. Don't give out your information. Don't exchange pictures," Greensboro Police Lieutenant, Karen Walters, shared with us.
