Twitter is like text messaging the world. A twitter message an only be 140 characters. Each time you send a message...it's called...a tweet.
You can use Twitter on your p-c or any mobile device---phone, palm pilot, itouch. If you get the internet...you can Twitter!
For now..Twitter is FREE. You can have people follow you...and get your Tweets...and you can follow other people and get their Tweets.
