Firefighters Pay Tribute To 9/11 Victims And Fallen Heroes

Greensboro, NC -- Greensboro Firefighters gathered around the Firefighter Memorial Statue to remember the heroes who died while doing their jobs during the 9/11 attacks eight years ago.

The memorial took place at Fire Station One on North Church Street in Greensboro Friday afternoon. Area Fire Departments also lowered flags at half-staff in memory of the 9/11 victims.

Firefighters also rang a memory bell in honor of the 343 fallen firefighters who died during the terror attacks.
