Greensboro, NC -- The saga over that mysterious illness at Oak Ridge Elementary just took on another twist. Tuesday night, the Guilford County School Board learned work at Oak Ridge is $40,000 over budget. Paying for it, may mean taking money out of the 2000 and 2003 school bonds or funds earmarked for maintenance at other schools. But, crews have yet to work in the classroom wings or recommission the hvac system. So the cost overruns will go much higher. They're working to remove whatever made students and staff sick and forced students to attend class at four separate campuses until the work is finished.
