Burlington -- Three years ago, the kids at the Boys and Girls Club in Burlington got a new playground. Today, it got a little spruce-up.
National Agents Alliance, Foresters, Kaboom! and Elon University students teamed up to put down new mulch, plant flowers and just make the place look better.
Andy Albright, President and CEO of NAA said, "I am so glad to be associated with people that will get out here and work like this. You get out here and you make a difference. I used to play basketball here in this little Salvation Army Boys Club and I know the people that run it. It makes me feel great. It's my home town and I like giving back."
The team worked extra quickly. The plan was to work all day. They worked so fast, they were done before lunch time!
