Greensboro, NC -- The Reverend Jesse Jackson is calling for community support to address the state's foreclosure crisis.
Jackson shared what he calls his "Mass Action Campaign" with other church leaders in Greensboro on Friday. A group of supporters rallied around Jackson's message on Colson Street across from Dudley High School. His plan includes preventing future homeowners from buying out of their means. Jackson wants to pressure major mortgage lenders to restructure homeowner loans.
He's asking lenders including Wells Fargo, Citibank, and Bank of America to change that process. He also called for action when it comes students getting loans.
