Runaway Teen May Be Heading To Montana

Alamance County, NC-- Alamance County Sheriff's deputies are looking for a missing/runaway teenager. They say Aliaksandr (Alex) Vlad Malakhov, 15 was reported missing by his parents on Thursday, October 29.

Malakhov was Last seen in Alamance County on Thursday, aroud 8am in the area of Western Alamance Middle School on N NC 87 Hwy. He was seen trying to get a ride towards Reidsville. Malakhov was spotted again in the Reidsville area Thursday afternoon. He was wearing dark blue shorts and black sneakers. He asked someone for directions to Martinsville, VA and stated that he was travelling to Montana.

Since that time he may have been seen in the Roanoke, VA area attempting to purchase a vehicle. Malakhov has been using the alias name, John Cooper. He is not known to have any identification in his possession. He has been entered as a missing person in the National Crime Information Centercomputer system.
