Free Dental Clinic This Weekend

Greensboro, NC -- Local dentists will provide cleanings, x-rays and dental health education free of charge this weekend.

The Guilford County Dental Society, First Presbyterian Church and Moses Cone Health System are collaborating for North Carolina Missions of Mercy (NCMOM).

As many as 40 volunteer dentists and 250 community volunteers will participate in the two-day free dental clinic.

They expect more than 500 patients to receive dental exams, cleanings, x-rays, restorations and extractions for free.

The clinic will be held Friday, November 6 and Saturday, November 7 at First Presbyterian Church, 617 N. Elm Street in Greensboro.

Patients will be seen on a first-come, first-served basis with registration begining at 6:00am each day. The clinic hours will be from 7:30am-5:30pm Friday and 7:30am-3:00pm Saturday.

To be eligible for treatment, patients must be at least 18 years old and not earn more than 200 percent of the national poverty level annually.
