Eden, NC-- Eden police officers are looking for man they say is armed and dangerous. They say on Wednesday, November 11, the J-Mart #1 convenience store on East Stadium Drive reported being robbed at gunpoint. The next day, on Thursday, November 12, the Eden Store on E. Stadium Dr. reported being robbed a gunpoint.
While responding to that call, officers got another armed robbery call from the J-Mart #2 convenience store on N. Fieldcrest reporting an armed robbery as well. While looking into the incidents investigators identified Lenell Hewitt from the November 11th robbery of J-Mart #1 convenience store.
Officers say Hewitt is from Reidsville and Eden police have warrants for him for robbery with a dangerous weapon. They caution the public that Lenell Hewitt should be considered armed and dangerous.
