Greensboro, NC --A man was shot in the back when he walked away from a man trying to rob him.
Greensboro Police say Jesus Menjivar was walking home from Florida Grocery near the intersection of Freeman Mill and W. Florida Street around 9:00 pm Friday.
He was approached by a man demanding money. Menjivar kept walking toward his home in the 900 block of Florida Street, when he was shot twice in the back.
The suspect fled towards Freeman Mill Road.
Menjivar was transported to Moses Cone and treated for non-life threatening injuries.
A possible suspect was located and is being held for questioning.
