High Point, NC -- A local Martial Arts School teamed up with the North Carolina Law Enforcement Torch Run to raise money for Special Olympics.
Living Defense Martial Arts held a Board Break-A-Thon Saturday at the Oak Hollow Mall in High Point. Students raised money and then displayed their talents.
School co-owner Mariea Snyder says that the event gives students the opportunity to help other athletes achieve their goals.
Among the students breaking boards, WFMY News 2's Carol Andrews.
The final total on money raised should be available next week.
