Randleman, NC -- When you say the name "Petty", you automatically think NASCAR, but this is the new starting line.

Kyle Petty joined us on the GMS to talk about the "Run To Victory" on Sunday, December 13th.  It's a half-marathon or 5 mile race to help raise money for The Victory Junction Camp.

Kyle ran the race last year. When Tanya told him she and her family would run, he said he'd put on his running shoes again and race this year too!

The camp is celebrating its fifth year. The year round camping environment  is aimed at children, ages 6 to 16 that have serious medical issues.

So far the camp has served more than 12,000 children and their families through programs designed for 24 different disease groups.

You can help the camp continue by joining in on the Run to Victory, December 13th. Sign up for the half-marathon or a 5k run/walk.

The run begins at 10am at Randleman Middle School and ends at Victory Junction. Join Kyle and Pattie for a worship service before the race at 9am.
