Governor Perdue Announces Innovation Council Winston-Salem, NC -- Governor Bev Perdue made a stop in the triad Monday.
She announced a new council for innovation in North Carolina while touring the Wake Forest Institute for Regenerative Medicine. Perdue says the council's main purpose is to create jobs that will keep the state competitive in the global economy.
