Rockingham County, NC-- Monday night, deputies in Rockingham County got a call to go to Angel's Bail bonding in Wentworth for a disturbance.

Melissa Seiler of Angel's Bail bonding told investigators that David Lee Taylor and his mother Gladys Pullium had come to her bonding business about surrendering a woman on a previously signed bond. When Seiler went outside, she found the woman being held against her will in the car by Taylor. She told Taylor he could not bring the woman to the agency restrained and against her will.

During this time, the victim, Cindi Sutherland, escaped out the car and went to the magistrate's office. Taylor and his mother fled the scene. A detective was called to the scene and was told of previous assaults by Taylor to the victim.

Following the investigation warrants were drawn for David L. Taylor. He was arrested at his home this morning. He is charged with felonious restraint and domestic assault on a female.

He's in the Rockingham Jail under a $10,000 bond.
