Guilford County Commissioners Approve LabCorp Incentives

Guilford Co., NC -- Hundreds of new jobs are one step closer to coming to the city of Greensboro. The Guilford County Board of Commissioners approved more than $248,000 in incentives for LabCorp.

Commissioners voted seven to four to give LabCorp $667 per new job. LabCorp plans to hire 373 workers over the next three years.

The company must now decide to either setup operations at a site in Greensboro or Danville, Virginia.

Officials said the new facility would likely be at High Point Road and Pinecroft Road.
