Twelve Local HS Teams Face Off In Quarterfinal Playoff Action

Greensboro, NC -- Eleven area teams continue their quest Friday night for a High School football championship.  Quarterfinal action features matchups of some high powered offenses.

One of the most intriguing matchups features Ragsdale at Dudley.  The two teams last met during the second week of the regular season. 

Dudley jumped out to an early 8-0 lead, but the Tigers roared back with the play of quarterback Luke Heavner.  Heavner threw two touchdown passes giving the Panthers their only loss of the season.

Two other teams very familiar with each other face off in Davidson County.  Lexington coming off their upset over Starmount heads to Cushwa Stadium to take on the Thomasville Bulldogs.

Ragsdale at Dudley -- 7:30 pm

Princeton at Mt. Airy -- 7:30 pm

Anson Co. at Northern Guilford -- 7:30 pm

Reidsville at SW Edgecombe -- 7:30 pm

Lexington at Thomasville -- 7:30 pm

Jordan-Matthews  at  East Bladen -- 7:30 pm
