NC Highway Patrol: 12 Traffic Fatalities During Thanksgiving Weekend, So Far

North Carolina-- Monday Afternoon, the North Carolina Highway Patrol reported that 12 people were killed in traffic collisions during the Thanksgiving Holiday weekend. They say in 2008 there were 25.

Investigators say not all the reports have been turned in and the number could changes.

The holiday period began at 6pm Wednesday, November 25 and ended at midnight Sunday, November 29.
