Davidson County, NC-- Davidson County Sheriff's detectives announced Monday they've made two arrests in a necklace theft reported in early December. Officers say they got a theft claim from Bryan Jacobs. Jacobs told them he had been the victim of a robbery on December 5 while visiting a friend on Lazy River Drive in Lexington.

Jacobs told investigating officers that while he was at the home  a physical altercation occurred between himself and Joseph Adam Spaugh. He said during the altercation a 10kt gold necklace, valued at $4,500.00 dollars, was ripped from his neck by Spaugh. Jacobs told officers Spaugh gave the necklace to another person identified as Brandon Scott Lilly. The victim said he then left the home to avoid further altercation.

Investigators say after looking into the alleged incident they have charged Joseph Adam Spaugh and Brandon Scott Lilly with common law robbery. Both men received a $50,000.00 dollar secured bond and placed in the Davidson County Jail.
