Greensboro, NC -- The Greensboro City Council approved annexing and rezoning land for the new American Express Data Center.

It would be located east of Birch Creek Road, west of Knox Road and south of Burlington Road in Eastern Guilford County.

Right now, the area is agricultural.

The company plans to make improvements, including adding a road connecting Knox and Birch Creek Roads.

This area would be used for the second of two American Express Data Centers.

It would be about 195,000 square feet and employ 50 to 60 people.
