Greensboro, NC -- Family and friends, who knew Mary Ann Holder, continued their struggle Wednesday, to come grips with a deadly shooting spree.
The Mary Ann Holder, who shot six people, killing four of them and taking her own life, is not the woman who her family and friends knew.
Holder's own mother posted on her Facebook page Tuesday that she's in so much pain. Mary Frances Holder wrote that she doesn't want anyone to judge her daughter. She said she wants people to know she had a wonderful mother.
Other relatives of Holder said none of them ever had any clue that something was wrong.
This, as investigators try to figure out why Holder killed her two sons, Dylan and Zachary Smith, Dylan's girlfriend Makayla Woods, and her niece Hanaleigh Suttles. Holder also shot her nephew Richard "Ricky" Suttles and her ex-lover Randal Lamb on Sunday.

In the days leading up to Sunday's shooting, Holder had posted almost daily on her Facebook page. She said what she was thankful for. None of the posts immediately raised red flags.
Holder's cousin told News 2 that Holder never shared her personal business, but when she was going through a tough time, she always asked for prayers.
Michael Barrett, Pastor of the Pleasant Garden Baptist Church, who's also close friends with the father of Dylan and Zachary Smith, said the family is grateful for all the love and concern from the community.
Barrett said they're thankful for the lives of the kids, and the laughter and joy they shared during their lives that were cut too short.
Barrett added that the family continues to ask for prayers because none of them can make sense of this.
