Greensboro, NC -- A little rain didn't stop people from coming out to support the victims of the shooting rampage in Pleasant Garden.
A Guilford County group hosted a "Walk for Life" Saturday at Hagan-Stone state park to raise money to pay for the tombstones of the five victims.
Walk organizer Isaiah Jackson said the goal is to raise $7,000 for a fund managed by Pleasant Garden Baptist Church for the Suttles, Smith and Woods families.
"There's been a lot of people coming out. Some people are just donating and leaving and stuff like that. Not everyone is walking. The support is huge. The families are here and they are very appreciative of what we're doing. And, there's people donating stuff as they come along too. So, it's just been amazing," said Isaiah Jackson.
Mary Ann Holder shot and killed her two sons, 17-year-old Dylan Smith and 14-year-old Zack Smith; her 8-year-old niece Hana Suttles; 17-year-old nephew Ricky Suttles; and 15-year-old Makayla Woods, who was Dylan Smith's girlfriend. Holder then took her own life.
