Triad, NC - Last week, there were four days at or above 60.  If you think that was warm, just wait later this week as we could have at least that many days above 70.

High pressure is in place over the east coast.  It is bringing a nice Sunday to most people from Maine to Florida.  It is also bringing milder air into the picture.

As the high pressure system moves farther to the east, that will pull our wind in from the south.  That is bringing in warm air and even a bit more humidity.  Monday will feature highs in the upper 60s but also more clouds.

Tuesday brings the best chance of rain to the Triad.  Any time from Monday night through Tuesday, there is a 30% chance of showers.  A few thunderstorms can't be ruled out but they shouldn't be severe.

By Wednesday, the real warm-up begins.  With sunny skies, highs in the middle of the week will be in the mid to upper 70s.  We will most likely stay in the 70s into next weekend.
