Winston-Salem, NC -- Police were called shortly after 11:30 pm Tuesday night about a suicide on Ziglar Road.

Police say a family member found Jackie Cates, a 52 year-old man, and when they arrived they saw that he died from a gunshot wound.

An autopsy is pending.

This is the 3rd Homicide for the city in 2012 as compared to 2 during the same time period in 2011.
