How should the law deal with a person who made a mistake and caused a fatal wreck?
Last night, state representative Larry Womble turned himself in to face a charge for Misdemeanor Death by Vehicle.
Womble is now using a wheelchair and is blind in one eye after the wreck last December.
Investigators say Womble's car crossed the center line and hit David Carmichael's car head-on.
Carmichael was dead on the scene.
That had many of you asking us on Facebook why Womble was only charged with a misdemeanor.
