The 11am advisory on Subtropical Storm Beryl places the storm 225 miles east of Charleston, South Carolina and 330 miles northeast of Jacksonville, FL.
Maximum winds are 45mph with higher gusts. A little strengthening is possible over the next day or two.
Beryl is moving southwest at 9 mph.....a general southwest motion will continue over the next 24 hours with a possible turn to the west thereafter.
Tropical storm watches and warnings have been posted for parts of the South Carolina and northeast Florida coasts.
