Ashland, OH -- A northern Ohio woman killed during a vacation to North Carolina's Outer Banks is being buried in her hometown.
The Ashland Times-Gazette reports 33-year-old Lynn Jackenheimer was buried Monday in Ashland. Police suspect she was killed by her on-and-off boyfriend, Nathan Summerfield, while vacationing with him and her two children earlier this month.
Some of the mourners who attended calling hours Sunday wore T-shirts with the slogan "Justice for Lynn."
Her body was found in a vacant lot in Frisco, N.C. Authorities say she died from strangulation and stab wounds.
Police are searching for Summerfield, who is wanted on a murder charge. Police say he returned the children to Ashland and drove away.
Summerfield's brother has told authorities that Summerfield said he strangled the woman.
