Greensboro, NC -- Army Sergeant Cory Pennel has spent the last year in Afghanistan. Tonight, he came back home to a warm reception at Piedmont Triad International Airport.

He was immediately greeted with hugs from his wife, Savannah, son, and mother, Susan Haver, followed by more friends and family. Members of the Blue Star Moms group also showed up to support. As they exited the terminal, they walked through a concourse lined with flags by members of the Patriot Guard.
