Greensboro, NC -- Police are investigating a pair of shootings that happened early Sunday morning.
Officers responded to Dewey St. at 1:45 a.m. on a shots fired call. When they arrived, officers found the victim, Bernard Boswell, suffering from a gunshot wound.
EMS transported Boswell to a hospital with a non-life-threatening injury.
The victim was shot during a fight involving several people, according to police.
In the second case, police responded to 903 Martin St. at 3:50 a.m. and found another victim suffering from a gunshot wound.
The victim was taken to a hospital for treatment; their condition is unclear.
UPDATE: Greensboro police have identified the victim as Jamal Muata Perry, 32. He later died from his injuries at Moses Cone Hospital. Police do not know the motive or the suspect's relationship to Perry.
These two shootings do not appear to be related.
Police are still investigating both cases.
