Employee Of Outback Steakhouse Robbed In Rear Parking Lot

(Burlington, NC)  --  On September 24, 2012 at approximately 8:30PM, The Burlington Police Department responded to a robbery call at Outback Steakhouse.

When they arrived an employee reported she was robbed in the rear parking lot. The victim stated she had ended her shift at work and had walked to the rear parking lot where she entered her vehicle, when the suspect approached her vehicle from the driver's side and pointed a firearm at her and demanded her money. The victim complied and the suspect left the area on foot in an unknown direction of travel possibly toward Kirkpatrick Rd.

The suspect is described as a black male, 35-40 yoa, medium build, wearing a blue over white polo type shirt, blue jeans, a green ball cap and carrying a black handgun.
