Greensboro, N.C.--North Carolina A&T was in the national spotlight Thursday night.
Head Coach Rod Broadway and the Aggies opened MEAC play at home against Morgan State.
The game was broadcast live on ESPNU.
Mike Mayhew carried 23 times for 105 yards and 2 touchdowns but it was not enough as Morgan State comes away with the 21-18 win.
Down 18-14, the Bears rallied and wrapped up their final series with Robert Council connecting with Andrew King on a 10 yard touchdown pass with 10 seconds left int he game.
Mayhew entered the game needing only 35 yards to become the school's all-time leading rusher.
