Winston-Salem, NC - Let's eat and ride!

One week into fall and it's  time to taste the all the foods of the fair. And your chance started today!

The 130th year of the Dixie Classic Fair which is the second largest agricultural Fair in North Carolina.

From deep-fried pickles and twinkies...it's a fun food frenzy waiting to explode on your taste buds. There's also numerous rides and games, nationally know musical entertainment, delicious food and beverage and exhibits for livestock, poultry, fine arts and crafts among many more.

The Dixie Classic Fair is the second largest agricultural Fair in North Carolina. The fair is expected to draw-in 320,000 visitors.

The fair run from September 28th - October 7th.

NEW THIS YEAR

The Space Roller Ready to fly? A truly smooth and thrilling experience, six gondolas rotate freely and can perform a 360-degree loop using centrifugal force. Because the riders' legs are free, the sensation of flying and performing loops is enhanced.

Volkswagen Kiddie Ride -Calling all car enthusiasts! Kids are snug as a bug riding the circuit in our all-new Volkswagens. They can honk their horns and steer around the track while jamming to the music and cruising on!

Tractor Kiddie Ride- Kids! Come on down to the farm and have a great time driving or riding on your very own tractor. Beep your horn and sing along to your favorite farm-themed music.

The Mid-Atlantic Southeastern Wine Competition will feature winning North Carolina Wine and this year, wines will be available for sale by the bottle.

HELPFUL FACTS

Bicycles do not fit through pedestrian exit turnstiles without getting stuck.

BB&T ATMs are located next to the Clock Tower Information Booth. Other ATMs are located inside the Annex and at other locations throughout the Fairgrounds.

The Winston-Salem Rescue Squad administers First Aid at the Fair.
