Greensboro, NC -- By the end of this year, more than 15,000 kids in the United States will be diagnosed with Type 1 Diabetes, according to the Juvenile Diabetes Research foundation.
It's a disease they can never outgrow, but with research, maybe one day, the odds will turn in their favor
It's a cause near and dear to 12-year-old Rylan Ballou's heart and she joined us on the Weekend Good Morning Show to discuss her awareness campaign, how she raised almost $6,000 for the Walk for the Cure and her life with the disease.
