Winston-Salem, NC -- Police have reopened all lanes on I-40 West after a tractor trailer overturned under the US 52 bridge this afternoon.
According to the NC DOT, maintenance crews reopened the two inside lanes and the ramp from US 52 South at about 4:30pm. The outside lane and the US 52 North ramp to I-40 West have also been reopened.
Police closed all Westbound lanes on I-40 at Exit 193 around 2:20pm. Traffic was directed to US 52 Northbound, where drivers had to take US 52 North to US 52 South in order to go back to I-40 West.
Minor injuries were reported, but no other vehicles were involved.
