Winston-Salem, NC -- The Forsyth County Board of Commissioners approved a multi-million-dollar incentive package to help bring nutrition firm Herbalife to Winston-Salem in its meeting Monday.
The unanimous decision came after the Winston-Salem City Council approved the package in its Nov. 19 meeting.

The $2.25 million package will be paid to Herbalife in increments. The city will pay the firm $450,000 up front, and it will pay the remaining $1.8 million over the next seven years if Herbalife chooses Winston-Salem.
The board opened the floor to public comment, but no one came forward in support or opposition of the package.
Herbalife's final decision will be between Winston-Salem and Atlanta, GA. There's still no word on when that decision will come.
