Greensboro, NC-- The winter weather is causing a Triad-area school system to reschedule events planned for Saturday.
Just before noon Friday, Guilford County Schools (GCS) announced it is cancelling all activities scheduled for Saturday.
The cancellation includes: all extracurricular activities and athletics practices and contests, as well as the Magnet Fair and SATs. Any events planned by outside groups on school campuses are also cancelled.
- The district Magnet Fair will now be held on Monday, Jan. 28, from 5 to 7:30 p.m. at Showplace in High Point.
- SATs make up date is set for Saturday, February 16.
The scheduled SAT sites were: Eastern, Northeast, High Point Central, Smith, Grimsley, Southern, Eastern, Northeast and Page.
