Avoid Traffic Delays As Road Crews Will Soon Replace Two Bridges in Rockingham County

Rockingham County, NC -- Road crews will begin replacing two bridges in Rockingham County in April. They'll first replace the bridge on Haynes Road and then the second one on Price Mill Road.

The bridges were built in the mid-1950s and are in need of repairs; they must be able to meet future traffic demands. According the NC DOT, the bridges are considered functionally obsolete but are still safe.

Haynes Road Bridge Detour: Use N.C. 65 to Hadson Road to U.S. 158.

Price Mill Road Bridge Detour: Use N.C. 65 to Haynes Road to U.S. 158.

Construction on the bridges should be complete by November.
