HIGH POINT, N.C. -- An 18-year-old man found dead in a High Point lake in March was shot in the back of the neck before he was dumped in the water.
Fisherman found Dorien Jackson's body in Lake Townsend nearly two months after he was last seen leaving his Greensboro home on his bicycle after getting a message from a friend.
An autopsy report released this week said Jackson died from a gunshot to the back of his neck that injured his spine before exiting from his mouth.
Jackson's body was so decomposed from being in the water that he had to be identified through fingerprints.
Greensboro police are looking for clues to determine who killed the teen.
