High Point, NC -- Citing an increase in street level prostitution in one part of town, High Point police staged a crackdown on crime resulting in prostitution charges against ten women.
According to a report from the department, increased complaints about prostitution along West English Road prompted a month-long undercover sting.
On Monday, officers arrested ten suspects in an hour-long bust. All of the suspects were taken to the Guilford County Jail in High Point under a $500 bond.
In a news release the department promises to "continue to aggressively enforce a zero tolerance approach to prostitution and drug activity in and around the West End neighborhoods."
