Iredell County, NC -- The assistant principal of South Iredell High School is off the job and in trouble with the law.
A 16-year-old student says the principal performed a sex act in front of her at the school.
Lamar Lewis of Charlotte now faces felony charges of sex offense with a student and indecent liberties with a student. Lewis was hired in October of 2005 and successfully passed a background check. He has no prior criminal record.
Arrested at his home on Wednesday afternoon, Lewis is now out of jail under a $15,000 secured bond.
