Obama To Speak In Greensboro Today

Greensboro, NC -- The stage is set for Barak Obama's town hall meeting at War Memorial Auditorium in Greensboro.

Some 2,000 people are expected for the speech, with another 6,000 watching it on a big screen at the Coliseum's special events center.

Obama supporters tell WFMY they don't mind the limited seating arrangements, or the fact the video feed is standing room only.

WFMY news crews will cover the event and anyone can watch Obama's speech live on digtriad.com. The video stream begins at 12:00 pm, look for the link on our homepage.

Obama's is scheduled to speak starting at 1:00 pm. The doors to the event open at 11:00 am for ticket holders.

Meanwhile, Clinton campaign officials announced three planned stops in North Carolina.

Hillary Clinton will visit Raleigh, Fayetteville, and Winston-Salem on Thursday.

Clinton will attend a "Solutions for America" event at Forsyth Technical Community College Gymnasium in Winston-Salem. The doors open at 4:00 pm and the event begins at 5:30 pm.

No tickets are required and the event is open to the public.
