Greensboro, NC -- The students at St. Pius X Catholic School get into the Mardi Gras spirit every year.
The fifth through eighth graders make floats and the students dress up for a big parade.
The students in the parade throw candy to the students who watch but they all have a great time.
The celebration also known as Fat Tuesday comes the day before Ash Wednesday, which kicks off the traditional start of the Lent season leading up to Easter.
