Greensboro, NC -- Some local middle and high school athletes are getting national attention for their basketball skills. The Shining Light Academy girl's basketball team won the National Association of Christian Athletes tournament. They beat Heritage Christian from Zebulon for the title. The boys team made it to the championship game, but came up short to a Christian Academy in Kentucky. This marked the second year Shining Light competed in the national championship. The athletic director expects his school to return again next year because only one player will graduate this year.
