High Point, NC -- A program teaching students the importance of safe driving is coming to Christian schools in High Point.
WFMY News 2 Photojournalist Steve Hofbauer was there as VIP for a VIP arrived at High Point Christian Academy.

The program is designed to show students what happens when they make bad decisions when it comes to driving. Project organizers create car crash scenes and make them as personal to the students as they can because they want them to know this can happen at home to them.

If we effectively save one person we've really touched more lives than that because of the ripple effect the consequences of a bad decision happen your effecting their parents their kids and their families.

VIP for a VIP is run by Guilford County EMS, the Guilford County Sheriff Department, MADD of the Triad, and the NC Highway patrol. For more information on the program, click here.
