Greensboro, NC - North carolina A&T students are bringing Emmett Till's story to a Triad stage. The play written and performed by A&T students, documents Till's gruesome murder in Money, Mississippi at the age of 14. The play features 25 cast members and combines music and dance. We spoke with the show's writer and director about the message he hopes to send. "I want everyone who comes out to the show to get a sense of what it feels like to be in that time, during the 50's, not only as an African American but as a Caucasian, as a Hispanic," said Kevin Wilson, Jr. "We, all around the world were affected by this story in some way." The "Emmett Till Story" debuts on April 19th at the Harrison Auditorium on the NC A&T campus. It starts at 7:00pm. And you'll like the price. The show is free.
