GREENSBORO
Two eastbound lanes of Wendover Avenue will be closed from 7 p-m Friday night to 6 am Monday morning. The stretch impacted is between Latham road and Virginia street.
Crews will be back to work replacing water and sewer lines under the road. There will be some detours in the area. Drivers are urged to avoid this stretch if possible.
GUILFORD COUNTY
NC DOT crews will be working on a stretch of Eastbound I-40 / Northbound Business 85 in Guilford County. They will be doing be paving work and sign replacement on the stretch between Freeman Mill road and McConnell road.
Traffic coming from the west and south will be detoured onto the southern loop.

WILKES COUNTY
The southbound lanes of US 421 in Wilkesboro will be closed overnight. Work crews will begin repairs on a portion of the road that collapsed earlier this week. This is in the area of Wilkes Community College.
Traffic will be detoured through town and back onto highway 421. Road engineers hope to have one lane back open by 8 am on Saturday.
