New Option for Medical Care Comes to High Point

High Point, NC - People living near High Point will soon have a new option for medical care. Moses Cone Health Systems is opening its new MedCenter on Monday.

WFMY News 2's Tracey McCain got a first look at the $30 million facility this morning. To see inside the MedCenter, click on the video player to the right.

Moses Cone MedCenter High Point is anchored by a 12-bed emergency department. It will be open around the clock and staffed by physicians specializing in emergency medicine.

The facility was built not only to serve people in High Point, but also people in Jamestown, Colfax, Oak Ridge, Summerfield and west Greensboro.

Another aspect of Moses Cone MedCenter High Point is its imaging services. People who need an x-ray, digital mammogram, MRI or CT scan can have on done at this location.

The $30 million medical complex opens at 8:00am on June 1st. The public is invited to preview the facility on Sunday, May 31st from 1:00pm to 4:00pm.

Moses Cone MedCenter High POint is at 2630 Willard Dairy Road off Hwy 68 in High Point. The open house features free barbecue, music and games for kids.
