NC A&T's Chancellor Martin Starts Today

Doctor Harold Martin attended meetings with administrators and ate lunch with students.

A big topic of discussion was state budget cuts and their effect on the university.

"Things we want to make sure we do is continue to provide support to our students for course offerings, advisement and support services to our students to ensure they remain academically successful on this campus," Martin said.

The student government president called the meeting exciting.

He says Martin is the best person to lead the university and he expects the school to make significant progress in the years ahead.
