Greensboro, NC -- A group of local churches is pulling together to give parents a break and help them survive the economy.

154 churches in the Cornerstone Conference are hosting a free overnight camp in Browns Summit. Kids from all over the nation will have the chance to come and enjoy music, swimming, human foos-ball and more, while learning about God.

Pastor Carl Vierling of Summer Harvest Church says, "The idea is to bring children together, both churched and unchurched ages 8-12, knocking down social, economic and racial barriers... we're supposed to be one body with one savior, so this brings all these different people together to show them that they're loved and that people care for them."

The camp runs from July 19th until the 22nd. The address is 7545 Highway 29 in Browns Summit. There's still room for people to register. For information, call (336) 299-6490, or click here.
